Project Midnight

"I really enjoyed it, but...."

submission: Project Midnight

First of all slow gun fire, then after awhile all there is to do is fill every square with a shooter, maybe like a level enhance like stronger enemies which will give you a reason to put more shooters and upgrade them cause after a certain point the firepower you already have is enough, and gun upgrades like you said. Lastly a way to click off the field and close out the shooter placement selector. I gave it a 10 because one of my favorite games is Endless Zombie Madness, and this is extremely similar minus an endless cache of weapon upgrades to buy. Anyways, I really liked this game!

Author's Response:

Looks like my main objective currently needs to be adding the upgrades to the main gun. Unless there is some bug that creeps up. One thing I really don't want is stagnation so hopefully the little update I just now threw in will make it a little more challenging. Click off the field and close out the shooter placement selector is one on my list and it does... but only in the case of not having enough cash. Other than adding keyboard shortcuts for the buttons the only thing I can think of is having it close out if you try to place a tower on top of another. I'll change it to that and see how it flies. I really really appreciate the comparison to Endless Zombie Madness. One of my favorite games as well and I intensely want this game to be seen as the tower defense version of endless zombie rampage.

Megaman vs. Link

"This doesn't work!"

When it starts you see the opening, then it goes to the start. When you click the play button it starts plays for 1 sec. and goes back to the play button.

At The Ol' Busstop

"Now this on the other hand."

submission: At The Ol' Busstop

I rather enjoyed this one, except for when it ended so abruptly, it could've gone on just a little longer.

April 8, 2008

Author's Response:

It really couldn't have. The abrupt ending is pretty important to the plot. Unless you wanted to watch them stand there doing nothing for a bit, which I think might have actually been better.

Anyway thanks, this was a pretty experimental little work. I think it went over most people's heads, haha.
